The yoga line of teachings comes from the paramparai (lineage) of Yogamaharishi Dr. Swami Gitananda Giri Guru Maharaj, Tamil Nadu, India. It is a blend of the Bengali Tantric Yoga tradition and the Southern India Siva Siddhanta yoga. This workshop covers a few aspects of ashtanga yoga: hatha yoga (postures known as asana), pranayama (breathing practices to control and master vital energy), and a relaxation practice.

Medical astrology is used to focus on various signs and the related body parts.

The sound healing practices come both from yoga - Carnatic music and the sound vibration of the Pranava AUM - and from other lines of teachings such as the research with Tuning Forks by Dr. John Beaulieu.

The class is open to beginners as well as practitioners and is based on a gentle step-by-step method.
